Pre- and Post-Natal Massage
Before treating a new or expecting mom to some soothing massage therapy, there are a few key points to be aware of.
Professional massage tables and techniques are even more important for soon-to-be and new moms. Pillows, props and strategic positioning are all implemented to make moms comfortable.
Also, be aware that expecting mothers should not have aromatherapy incorporated into a treatment. Essential oils are generally not recommended during pregnancy.*
Treatment duration is another factor for moms. As their bodies are changing under stress and pressure or still sensitive in recovery, it may be uncomfortable for them to remain in one position for too long. Shorter sessions are best, no longer than one hour.*
At AquaTerre, professionally trained and certified therapists perform both pre- and post-natal massage, aware of the best products and techniques for their unique needs.

Citrus Fruits
Add a little citrus to your diet this summer and enjoy a variety of benefits from these bold, juicy fruits.
Not only are they a good source of vitamin C and flavonoids, citrus fruits usually have a pleasant fragrance. Due to the relative toughness of their rinds, most are hardy enough to travel and keep well.
Half a grapefruit, a glass of orange juice or lemonade, or a tangerine in your lunch bag, are easy ways to add a touch of citrus to your day.
Incorporated into spa treatments, citrus adds a energizing scent and excellent cleansing properties.
