The Lazy Days of Summer

As you spend your spare time lounging in the warm Vancouver Island sun - or wherever the sun may be shining on you - we have a few spa tidbits to share.

Letter to AquaTerre

From time to time, customers write in to tell us about their experience at the spa. As often as possible, we like to share our letters with all of you who read the Spa News:

"I wanted to write a short note and share this moment with you. My daughter has just turned 12 and is starting to become aware of skin issues and taking better care of her person.

I have always been a Spa goer, and thought it would be a lovely way for her to learn more about her situation and from someone who was younger and what she would perceive as much cooler than her mom.

We spent a lovely day at AquaTerre Spa, and Chandra, it was such a great experience for her. She learned about her skin and what was happening during her pre-teen facial. She found it informative and really looked up to her skin care specialist who was young and that is really important when the client is at that impressionable age.

We found a good line of product for her to assist her with her facial break-outs and it was affordable. Because my daughter felt important and special through her experience, it made her very diligent at using her product. I can happily say that her skin is clearing up and she is feeling much more confident about her appearance.

Now she is trying for find ways to earn extra perks to go back and experience it again, and so we have her doing some chores etc around the house to earn the reward.

I had a lovely time, watching her flourish with her new knowledge and we even had the time to enjoy a lovely Spa lunch from the Landing while we relaxed in our robes and your lovely lounge.
