Benefits of Waxing

Unlike shaving, waxing removes hair from the roots hence it takes longer for new hair to grow back. Though the duration of growth of new hair varies from person to person, it generally takes between 3 to 8 weeks.

To Maximize the Results of your Waxing Service

• Exfoliate your skin 24 to 48 hours after waxing session to prevent the buildup of dead skin cells (which can result in ingrown hairs).
• Do not sunbathe for 24 hours.
• Bikini waxing can produce a hive-like appearance that may last 24 hours (though this is unlikely).
• Avoid scented lotions and perfumes, as well as all Alpha Hydroxy products for 48 hours.
• To assure ease of removal, unwanted hair must be at least 1/4" in length.
• Waxing during your menstrual cycle is not recommended. During your cycle your body is more sensitive due to hormonal changes, possibly causing the treatment to be more painful.
